(uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls men's basketball team hosted UW-Eau Claire at Page Arena on Wednesday night.The Falcons, is solid fashion, take care of the Blugolds of UW-Eau Claire and notching their 16th win overall and their 7th conference win of the season. Five Falcons scored in double figures as they pulled away late to take the 77-61 victory over the Blugolds.

WHAT HAPPENED
- A tightly contested game early saw the Falcons up 12-9 after Matt Keller hit from beyond the arc.
- Another Matt Keller 3-pointer with 3:25 left in the first half would increase the Falcon lead to 28-20.
- The Blugolds would narrow the gap with a layup from Cole Rabedeaux getting Eau Claire within 3. Falcons lead 30-27 with 3 minutes to play in the half.
- After a jump shot fell for the Falcons' Brennan Witt with just 2 seconds remaining in the half, the Falcons would take a 35-32 lead into Falcons would increase their lead throughout the 2nd half, a jumpshot from Clay Seifert at 13:11 of the second half would put the Falcons up 5.
