Clermont, Fla. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls softball team kept rolling in Florida on Monday with 2 more victories. The first one was a 15-7 win over Becker College and the second one was a 7-1 victory ver North Park University.
Payton Speckel picked up the first win and
Hannah Stegeman won the second game.
Noelle Senour and Maddie Studnicka homered to lead the Falcon offense on the day.

WHAT HAPPENED AGAINST BECKER
- Becker jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in their half of the first inning. The Falcons answered back with a 6 run inning in their half of the first to take a 6-2 lead and never looked back. Noelle Senour got the Falcon offense going when she hit a towering 2 run homer to left. The Falcons then put together 4 doubles and a single to add 4 more runs. Highlighted with a 2 run double by Ali Krohn.
- After a quick top of the 2nd inning the Falcons tacked on 6 more runs in their half of the second inning. Noelle Senour hit another 2 run homer to get the Falcons going in the second and push their lead to 8-2. The next big blow in the inning came when Maddie Studnicka drilled a 3 run homer to put the Falcons up 12-2.
- The Falcons added a couple more runs to take the victory 15-7.
- Payton Speckel picked up her 5th victory on the season going 4 and 2/3 innings striking out 4.

WHAT HAPPENED AGAINST NORTH PARK
- The Falcons loaded the bases in their half of the third inning and a sac fly hit to center by Maddie Studnicka scored Aiyana Ledwein to put the Falcons up 1-0.
- The Falcons pushed across two more runs in their half of the 4th to take a 3-0 lead. Following a walk and stolen base by Amber Galloway, Kaia Dorn hit a double to bring Galloway home. Molly Kaspar singled two batters later to bring Dorn in and give the Falcons their 3-0 lead.
- The Falcons broke the game open in their half of the 6th inning. The Falcons strung together 5 singles and a walk and put a 4 spot up to push their lead to 7-1. Ledwein singled to knock in Erin Ralph to get the Falcons started. Krohn came up with the bases loaded and hit a single to center and knocked in Dorn and Ledwein to give the Falcons a 6-1 lead. Studnicka followed with a single of her own to give the Falcons the 7-1 lead.
- The Falcons shut down North Park the rest of the way and pulled away for the 7-1 victory.
- Hannah Stegeman picked up her second win of the season going 4 innings and only giving up 1 run.

The Falcons look to continue their hot start when they play 2 more games today in Florida, the first game is at 9am vs Lakeland University and the second game is at 2 against the University of Minnesota Morris.
