ST. PETER, Minn. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls men's hockey team improved t 4-1-1 on the season with a 2-1 win over Gustavus Adolphus Saturday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST GUSTAVUS ADOLPHUS

• In the first period, the Gusties outshot the Falcons 10-5.
• The Falcons stuck first with a power play goal by Sam Anzai in the second period at 2:21. Ryan Cusin and Christian Hausinger assisted on the play.
• Cayden Cahill extended the Falcons lead to 2-0 with a goal at 10:49 in the third period.
• The Gusties split the Falcon lead in half with a third period goal at 12:47.
• The Falcons had 30 shots on goal.  Cayden Cahill accounted for five shots.
• Kade Phipps collected a career high 39 saves in his sixty minutes of play between the pipes.
