HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST HAMLINE
- Neither team could find the back of the net in the first period. The Falcon offense battled hard putting 19 shots on goal but the Piper goalie was a brick wall.
- The Falcons scored first in the game, getting a goal early in the second period on a power play. Ryan Cusin scored on a pass from Caydin Cahill and Christian Hausinger.
- The Pipers answered back in the third tying it up 1-1.
- The teams went to overtime where the Pipers were the on ones to get a shot on goal.
- The Falcons had 33 shots on goal and goaltender Zach Quinn had 13 saves.
