WHEATON, Ill. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls men's basketball team fell to the Lee Pfund Classic host team, Wheaton College, 60-86 in their first loss of the season. The Falcons kept it close through the first half, but after Wheaton went on a 7-0 run to start the second half, the Falcons wouldn't get within 11 points the remainder of the game.

WHAT HAPPENED
- The Falcons made 12 of their 31 first half shots, including four three-pointers, shooting 39 percent overall and just 25 percent from behind the arc. Ross Ingersoll scored 12 points in the first half for the Falcons, hitting 4-7 from the field, including two three-pointers. Ingersoll's 12 points were of the 14 total points coming from the Falcons bench in the first half.
- The Falcon recorded just 12 points in the paint in the first half, and 18 in the game overall.
- UWRF scored seven points off of Wheaton's four turnovers in the first half.
- UWRF went into half time trailing 34-41.
