RIVER FALLS, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls women's hockey team swept Lake Forest Sunday afternoon in 4-0 shutout.

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST LAKE FOREST COLLEGE
- Abigail Stow got the Falcons started with two goals in the first period. Her first came at 10:27 on a pass from Madi Nolan. Erica Schramel also assisted on the goal.
- Stow's second goal happened in the final two minutes of the first period. She fired a shot into the back of the net giving the Falcons a 2-0 lead. Setting her up on the goal was Alyson Niebur and Sophia Leong.
- Andrea Olson gave the Falcons a 3-0 lead in the first period when she scored with just 16 seconds remaining on the clock. Hailey Herdine assisted her on the play.
- Neither team found the back of the next in the second period even with three power play opportunities.
- Bella Wagner scored the final Falcon goal in the third period. She scored on a pass from Brooke Walters and Erica Schramel.
- The Falcons outshot the Foresters 40-22.
- Sarah Varga got her first collegiate win in goal. She had 18 saves in 40 minutes of play.
