LAS VEGAS, Nev. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls men's basketball team continued play in Las Vegas at the D3 Hoops Classic. On Monday, the Falcons fell to Muskingum University. Despite outscoring Muskingum in the second half, the Falcons came up short at the buzzer.

WHAT HAPPENED
- The Falcons made 11-31 (35.5 percent) field goals in the first half, including 1-9 from behind the arc. Julian Jackson led the Falcons in the first half with 9 points, hitting 3-6 from the field, including 1-1 from three, and 2-3 from the free throw line.
- UWRF gathered 11 2nd chance points on the night, four in the first half, off 12 offensive rebounds total.
- The Falcons scored just two points off the bench in the first half, 10 total for the game.
- UWRF went into half time trailing, 26-38.

- Jack Stensgard and Alex Ohde finished with 11 and 10 points respectively.
- Overall the Falcons went 25-60 from the floor (41.7 percent), 4-16 of three-pointers (25 percent), and 16-19 from the free throw line (84.2 percent).
THE OPPOSITION
- Marcus Dempsey was the high scorer for MU finishing with 28, shooting 9-26 from the floor, 4-8 from three point range, and 6-10 from the free throw line.
- Overall the Muskies finished the game shooting 25-60 (41.7 percent) from the field, 11-25 (44 percent) from behind the arc, and 11-17 (64.7 percent) from the free throw line.
