RIVER FALLS, Wis.com (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls men's hockey team advances to the WIAC semifinal game against UW-Stevens Point next weekend after shutting out UW-Stout Saturday night at Hunt Arena.  The Falcons beat the Blue Devils 3-0. 
 
Joel Frazee scored seven seconds into the Falcons power play opportunity in the fist period.  The Blue Devils were called for hooking giving the Falcons the additional attacker.  Frazee scored at 11:43 on a pass from Cayden Cahill and Ryan Cuzin. 
 
In an intense second period, the Falcons scored two goals.  Their first came at 4:08 when Josh Arnold received a pass from Aussie Miller.  Shortly after, Arnold was called for a five-minute major and game misconduct forcing the Falcons to have to play a man down for five minutes. 
 
In the final two minutes of the second period, Ryan Cusin took a pass from Christian Hausinger for a breakaway goal.  He went one on one with the Stout goaltender and fired one to the back of the net. 
 
The Falcons outshot the Blue Devils 26-21.  Zach Quinn got his second win in a row picking up 21 saves.
 
The Falcons will travel to No. 1 UW-Stevens Point Friday night for the semifinal matchup.  Puck drop will be 7 p.m. at the K.B.
