RIVER FALLS, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls men's basketball team were on the road on Saturday taking on UW-Whitewater. The Falcons took the win over the Warhawks 75-70.

WHAT HAPPENED
- The Falcons made 16-29 (55.2 percent) field goals in the first half, including 6-14 from behind the arc. Jack Stensgard led the Falcons in the first half with 11 points, shooting 4-4 from the floor, including 3-3 from three point.
- UWRF gathered just one 2nd chance point on the night.
- The Falcons scored eight points off the bench in the first half, 15 total for the game.
- UWRF went into half time with a strong lead, 42-28.
- The Falcons shot 47.6 percent from the field in the second half (10-21), hitting 4-7 from behind the arc. As a team, they made 9-14 from the free throw line (64.3 percent).
- Stensgard along with Noah Hanson led the Falcons with nine points each in the second half.
- River Falls scored 30 points in the paint on the night, 10 coming in the second half.
