EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls men's basketball was defeated by UW-Eau Claire on Wednesday night.  The Falcons fell to the Blugolds 66-70

WHAT HAPPENED
  • The Falcons made 13-26 (50 percent) field goals in the first half, including 2-5 from behind the arc.  Julian Jackson led the Falcons in the first half with eight points, shooting 4-8 from the floor.
  • The Falcons scored 15 points off the bench in the first half, 19 total for the game.
  • UWRF went into halftime leading, 32-20.
  • The Falcons shot 50 percent from the field in the second half (13-26), hitting 5-11 from behind the arc (45.5 percent).
  • Jack Stensgard led the Falcons in the second half, scoring 14 on 5-8, making 4-6 from three point.
  • River Falls scored 32 points in the paint on the night, 14 coming in the second half.
  • The Falcons scored 12 points overall off of eight Blugold turnovers.  
  • UWRF had just two 2nd chance points in the second half, four in the game, off six offensive rebounds.
