PLATTEVILLE, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls men's basketball was defeated by UW-Platteville on Saturday night.  The Falcons fell to the Pioneers 54-94.

WHAT HAPPENED

• The Falcons made 11-30 (36.7 percent) field goals in the first half, including 3-13 from behind the arc.  Alex Ohde led the Falcons in the first half with nine points, shooting 4-4 from the floor.
• The Falcons scored 14 points off the bench in the first half, 25 total for the game.
• UWRF went into halftime trailing 29-49.
• The Falcons shot 29.6 percent from the field in the second half (8-27), hitting 2-10 from behind the arc (20 percent).
• Julian Jackson led the Falcons in the second half, scoring six on shooting 2-4 from the field.
• River Falls scored 22 points in the paint on the night, eight coming in the second half.
• The Falcons scored 11 points overall off ten Pioneer turnovers.

• Jackson was the team's high scorer finishing with 13 points off of 4-11 shooting.  He also recorded nine rebounds.
• Overall the Falcons went 19-57 from the floor (33.3 percent), 5-23 from three-point (21.7 percent), and 11-16 from the free throw line. 

THE OPPOSITION

• Carter Voelker led the Pioneers with 30 points, shooting 10-13 from the floor.
• Overall Platteville finished the game shooting 32-66 (48.5 percent) from the field, 19-33 (57.6 percent) from behind the arc, and 11-18 (61.1 percent) from the free throw line.
