MENOMONIE, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls men's basketball traveled to UW-Stout on Wednesday evening, defeating the Blue Devils 96-77

WHAT HAPPENED
  • The Falcons made 14-32 (43.8 percent) field goals in the first half, including 5-12 from behind the arc.  Noah Hanson led the Falcons in the first half with 13 points, shooting 3-6 from the floor and hitting 2-5 from three point.  He also recorded 5-6 from the free throw line.
  • The Falcons scored seven points off the bench in the first half, 22 total for the game.
  • UWRF went into halftime trailing, 41-50.
  • The Falcons shot 63.3 percent from the field in the second half (19-30), hitting 6-9 from behind the arc.  As a team, they made 11-12 (91.7 percent) from the free throw line.
  • Jack Stensgard led the Falcons in the second half, scoring 13 on 5-5 shooting.
  • River Falls scored 38 points in the paint on the night, 24 coming in the second half.
  • The Falcons scored 18 points off of turnovers overall, capitalizing on 12 Blue Devil turnovers.
