RIVER FALLS, Wisconsin – The UW-River Falls men's hockey team bounced back Saturday night with a 2-0 WIAC win over Northland College.
 
Caleb Anderson got the Falcons on the board first with a goal at 4:12 in the first period. Assisting him on the goal was Joey Foss.  The Falcons earned their lone power play opportunity in the first period, but Northland held them off.
 
At 7:40 in the second period, Gibb Coady took a wide-open shot to the upper left corner of the net to give the Falcons their second goal of the game. Cayden Cahill and Noah Roofe assisted on the goal. 
 
The Falcons held off the LumberJacks in the third period after allowing them two power play opportunities. 
 
UWRF outshot Northland 24-21.  Dysen Skinner got the win in goal collecting 21 saves. 
 
The Falcons travel to UW-Superior Dec. 3 to take on the Yellowjackets.  Puck drop is set for 7 p.m.
