FALCONS HIT THE BIG STAGE AT HILTON COLISEUM
The Falcons were in Ames, Iowa, last Thursday, Nov. 4 for an exhibition game at Iowa State University. UWRF fell by a score of 99-44 against the Cyclones, who are ranked No. 12 in NCAA Division I.
Averie Varsho led the Falcons with 10 points, shooting 4-of-8 from the field.
Colie Justice and
Macy Nilsen followed with six points each.
SEASON OUTLOOK
UW-River Falls went 2-7 overall and 2-6 during the condensed 2021 WIAC schedule, with wins over UW-La Crosse and UW-Stevens Point.
The Falcons return five starters and nine letterwinners from last year's roster, including
Macy Nilsen and
Jenna Zeman, who earned All-WIAC Honorable Mention laurels last season.
