ST. PAUL, Minnesota – The UW-River Falls men's basketball team picked up its second nonconference win in a row defeating Hamline University 71-55 Saturday afternoon.
For the second game in a row, the Falcons led start to finish.
Noah Hanson led off the game with a layup and a three pointer to get the Falcons started. The Falcons led 38-13 going into the halftime break.
The Falcons shot 29-69 from the floor and were 9-25 from the three-point range. UWRF saw 26 points from the bench.
Noah Hanson led the Falcons with 18 points. He was 4-10 from beyond the arc. He completed the double double by collecting 13 rebounds.
Jake Reeck was the other Falcon who had double digit points collecting 15. He scored nine points off of three point shots after going 3-for-5.
UW-River Falls takes a holiday break and will return to play Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington on December 29. Tip off is set for 3 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.
