LAST TIME OUT
The Falcons split a pair of WIAC games last weekend, falling 2-1 at UW-Superior before a comeback win over UW-Eau Claire on Saturday, Dec. 4 at Hunt Arena. UWRF erased a 3-1 deficit against the Blugolds with three unanswered goals in the third period to earn a 4-3 win.
PASSARELLI EARNS WEEKLY HONORS
Freshman forward
Valentino Passarelli scored his first two goals as a Falcon last Saturday versus UW-Eau Claire, including the game-winner during the comeback victory over the Blugolds.
He was named the WIAC Men's Hockey Player of the Week and the Royal Credit Union Male Falcon of the Week.
IN THE POLLS
The Falcons received votes 14 votes in this week's USCHO Division III poll, garnering votes for the third consecutive poll. UWRF was ranked as high as No. 12 in the Nov. 8 poll.
FALCON NOTES
- The Falcons own a 3-1 record inside Hunt Arena, outscoring opponents 9-6 on their home ice.
- UWRF has the top defense in the WIAC and is ranked 11th in Division III, allowing an average of two goals against per game, and a total of 20 goals against in 10 games played.
- Sophomore goaltender Dysen Skinner has a 5-1 record and leads the WIAC with a 1.68 (10th/DIII) goals against average. He also ranks third in the conference with a .924 save percentage.
- Alex Davis is the top-scoring defenseman in the WIAC with seven points off two goals and five assists.
- Through four conference games, Noah Roofe has tallied three assists.
