After defeating the Eagles in a thrilling home win on Wednesday, the University of Wisconsin- River Falls men's basketball team fell to UW-La Crosse Friday night on the road, 83-52.
UW-L came out swinging to start the game, getting out to a 6-0 lead, a lead they would never give up. Alex Ohde recorded 12 points and seven rebounds in the first half, but the Falcons found themselves down 38-27 despite his efforts,
In the second half it was much of the same as the Eagles got things started with a 13-3 run and the Falcons never recovered.
For the night, Ohde was the only Falcon in double digits. The loss drops UW-RF to 2-2 and in a tie for 2nd place in the WIAC East Division with UW-Eau Claire.
The next game for UW-River Falls will be at home against UW-Eau Claire on Wednesday, February 17 at 7p.m.
