RIVER FALLS, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls women's volleyball team has received the United States Marine Corps (USMC)/American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the 2020-21 season.
 
The award, which was initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors teams that displayed excellence in the classroom by maintaining a year-long grade point average of 3.30 or better on a 4.00 scale. A total of 233 NCAA Division III programs claimed the honor.
