MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) released its Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the week of Jan. 17-23, with
Lexi LeFever representing UW-River Falls as the Women's Track Athlete of the Week.
LeFever, a junior sprinter and jumper from Hudson, Wis., led the Falcons during their 2022 indoor season opener on Saturday, Jan. 22 at the UW-Stout Open in Menomonie, Wis., winning both the 200-meter dash and long jump.
Her 200m time of 25.31 ranks first on the NCAA Division III Indoor Performance List. In addition, she anchored the Falcons' 4x400-meter relay squad that placed fourth with a time of 4:10.23, UW-River Falls' fastest time since the 2015 outdoor season.
LeFever was also named the Royal Credit Union Female Falcon of the Week. She is now a five-time WIAC Athlete of the Week award winner.
