The Falcons are coming off a trio of WIAC victories, including a Dec. 10-11 weekend sweep over UW-Stout, outscoring the Blue Devils 10-5.
On Friday, Dec. 10, a
Josh Arnold overtime game-winner gave the Falcons a 5-4 win in Menomonie, before UWRF returned to Hunt Arena on Saturday, Dec. 11, earning a 5-1 win backed by a pair of
Noah Roofe goals.

The Falcons received 13 votes in this week's USCHO Division III poll, garnering votes in a fifth consecutive poll. UWRF was ranked as high as No. 12 in the Nov. 8 poll.
FALCON NOTES
- UWRF owns the top defense in the WIAC and ranks 15th in Division III, allowing an average of 2.08 goas per game.
- Goaltenders Dysen Skinner and Dean Buchholz have shared time in net, each owning save percentages over .900.
- Skinner has started in seven of 12 games and has the top winning percentage in the WIAC with a 6-1 record (.857), which is also tied for eighth nationally.
- The Falcons' offense is balanced with 11 skaters with at least two goals, led by four goals each by Cayden Cahill, Noah Roofe, and Caleb Anderson.
- Cayden Cahill is riding a three-game point streak and leads the Falcons with 10 points off four goals and six assists (5th/WIAC).
- Sam Anzai and fellow centerman Noah Roofe, rank atop the WIAC in face-off winning percentage, winning on the dots at a rate of .544 and .536, respectively.
- Caleb Anderson leads the WIAC with three game-winning goals.
- Defensemen Noah Ganske (2g-6a) and Alex Davis (2g-5a) have provided offense from the blueline as the top-two scoring defenders in the WIAC.
- Against UW-Stout Dec. 10-11, Ganske tallied four assists and was named the RCU Male Falcon of the Week.
