RIVER FALLS, Wis. - The UW-River Falls men's hockey team fell to Saint Johns 3-1 Saturday night at Hunt Arena.
The Falcons got on the board fist when
Valentino Passarelli scored at 4:07 in the first period. Assisting him on the goal as
Jack Kilroy. The Johnnies answered back right away less than thirty seconds later scoring their first goal of the night tying the game up 1-1. St. Johns scored a second goal in the period and took a 2-1 lead at 13:19.
Neither team scored in the second period and a majority of the third. In the final minute of the game Saint Johns scored their third goal of the game on an empty net opportunity.
The Falcons outshot the Johnnies 28-27. Goaltender
Dysen Skinner had 24 saves on the night.
The Falcons now 1-1 on the season host Concordia University-Wisconsin on Friday November 4
th. Puck drop is 7:05 pm.
