LA CROSSE, Wis. – The UW-River Falls women's soccer team fell 6-0 during its first WIAC road match Wednesday evening at No. 17-ranked UW-La Crosse.
The Eagles did all of their damage in the first half, scoring six goals in 34 minutes, including the eventual game-winner four minutes in.
While the Falcons didn't allow a UWL goal in the second half, the home team only allowed five total UWRF shot attempts.
Grace Zellmer started in net for the Falcons and was replaced by
Kaylie Krueger after the fifth goal surrendered.
UWRF, now 9-2-2 overall and 0-2 in the WIAC, heads to UW-Platteville on Saturday.
