MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) released its Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the week of Oct. 24-30, 2022, with Sami Hilley representing UW-River Falls as the Volleyball Offensive Athlete of the Week.
 

The junior middle blocker from Brooklyn Park, Minn., led UWRF to a pair of 3-0 victories on the week over St. Olaf and UW-Platteville, conceding just one error with 26 kills for a .641 hitting percentage. She averaged 4.33 kills per set along with nine total blocks and four service aces, helping UWRF clinch a spot in the WIAC Tournament.

She was also the UWRF Female Falcon of the Week while earning her third career WIAC Athlete of the Week award. She also received WIAC Offensive Player of the Week laurels last week after hitting .424 with 3.67 kills per set Oct. 17-23.

UWRF, who received the No. 6 seed for the WIAC Tournament, opens postseason play tonight at No. 3 seed UW-Stevens Point.
