NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The UW-River Falls men's hockey team fell 3-0 at St. Olaf College Thursday evening.
UWRF drops to 3-2 overall with its first shutout loss of the season.
St. Olaf took a 1-0 lead at 14:23 and led by a goal at the first intermission. Each team had seven shots on target after 20 minutes.
The Falcons found themselves on their third penalty kill of the game near the midway point of the game, and the Oles capitalized to take a 2-0 lead to claim a two-goal advantage heading into the final period.
UWRF outshot St. Olaf 10-5 in the third period and had a 5-on-3 power play chance, but were unable to get one past the Oles. The Falcons pulled goaltender

Skinner made 17 saves in net while conceding the loss as his record dips to 3-2 on the season.
The Falcons totaled 27 shots on net compared to 20 from the home team, led by four shots each from
