The No. 6-ranked UW-River Falls women's hockey team is set for three games this week, traveling to St. Olaf College on Tuesday prior to heading to Plattsburgh State to take part in the Cardinal/Panther Classic in Plattsburgh, N.Y.

• UWRF remained ranked No. 6 in this week's USCHO Division III Women's Hockey Poll, garnering 194 points.
• The Falcons were picked to finish first in the WIAC Preseason Poll, as voted on by the league's head coaches and sports information directors.
• UWRF is coming off a 3-2 win over No. 8-ranked UW-Eau Claire on Saturday. 
  • The Falcons outshot the Blugolds 33-13 while Aubrey Nelvin scored the game-winner in the third period. Nelvin also had two assists at St. Scholastica (Nov. 15).
  • Nelvin was named the WIAC Player of the Week, following MaKenna Aure and Maddie McCollins' WIAC POTW honors the last two weeks.
• The Falcons are the WIAC leaders with 4.67 goals per game and 1.5 goals against.
