- UWRF remained ranked No. 6 in this week's USCHO Division III Women's Hockey Poll, garnering 194Â points.
- The Falcons were picked to finish first in the WIAC Preseason Poll, as voted on by the league's head coaches and sports information directors.
- UWRF is coming off a 3-2 win over No. 8-ranked UW-Eau Claire on Saturday.Â
- The Falcons outshot the Blugolds 33-13 while Aubrey Nelvin scored the game-winner in the third period. Nelvin also had two assists at St. Scholastica (Nov. 15).
- Nelvin was named the WIAC Player of the Week, following MaKenna Aure and Maddie McCollins'Â WIAC POTW honors the last two weeks.
- The Falcons are the WIAC leaders with 4.67 goals per game and 1.5 goals against.
