MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) released its Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the week of Nov. 28-Dec. 4, 2022, with Macy Nilsen representing UW-River Falls as the Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week.

Nilsen, a senior from Edina, Minn., averaged 20.5 points per game versus UW-Eau Claire and UW-Whitewater, including a season-high 24 points with 13 points in the fourth quarter alone to lead the Falcons to a 67-64 win over No. 12-ranked UW-Whitewater on Saturday. She totaled 12 rebounds and shot over 40 percent from the field, including an 11-for-14 mark at the free throw line.

The Falcons (6-2, 1-1 WIAC) host nonconference games this week versus Finlandia University and Eureka College.
