RIVER FALLS, Wis. – The UW-River Falls women's basketball team closed out its regular season schedule on Wednesday evening at Page Arena, defeating UW-Stevens Point 71-58.

Jenna Zeman were honored postgame and helped improve the Falcons' record to 11-11 overall and 4-9 during WIAC play.
Seeds for the WIAC Tournament will be announced shortly, with the first round taking place on Friday, Feb. 18.
The Falcons were led by
Macy Nilsen's 24 points off a career-high 7-of-9 mark from beyond the arc. She also led the team with eight rebounds. Zeman followed with 15 points along with 12 from
Cassie Heinrichs.
After UWRF led 13-8 after the first quarter, back-to-back triples from Nilsen gave the Falcons a 23-14 just over three minutes into the second period, their largest lead of the first half.
UWRF limited the Pointers to under 30 percent shooting through the first two periods and led 33-24 at halftime.
The Falcons extended their lead into double digits early in the second half with a
Kameri Meredith three-pointer and led for the remainder of regulation. UWRF led by 11 heading into the final 10 minutes and led by as many as 15 with Nilsen's seventh three-pointer of the night.
UWRF shot 26-for-55 from the field and 12-of-29 from beyond the arc.
