RIVER FALLS, Wis. - The UW-River Falls men's hockey team is set for a home and home WIAC series versus UW-Superior this weekend, hosting the Yellowjackets at Hunt Arena Friday evening before heading to Superior on Saturday.

- This weekend's matchups mark the 161st and 162nd all-time meeting between the Falcons and Yellowjackets, with UW-River Falls maintaining a 76-68-16 series advantage.

- UWRF split a WIAC series against Northland College last week, falling 2-1 on Thursday in Ashland, Wis., before a 3-1 win on Saturday at Hunt Arena in which the Falcons scored shorthanded and on the power play. Caleb Anderson scored goals in both games, including Saturday's game-winner against the Lumberjacks.
- The Falcons rank fourth in the WIAC with 2.52 goals per game and third with 2.38 goals against.
- While the Falcons' 5.67 penalties per game is second most in the WIAC, UWRF owns the third-best penalty kill, turning away 75 of 88 opponent's power plays.
- UWRF's .524 faceoff winning percentage is third best in the WIAC. Centers Sam Anzai and Noah Roofe rank third and fourth in the league with .566 and .559 faceoff winning percentages, respectively. Roofe leads the league with 231 faceoff wins.
- A balanced Falcon offense has led to 10 skaters with at least three goals, led by seven from Noah Roofe. Cayden Cahill is the UWRF leading scorer with 15 points and Caleb Anderson leads the WIAC with four game-winning goals.
- Noah Ganske is second-leading scoring defender in the WIAC with 14 points (3g-11a).
- Sophomore goaltenders Dysen Skinner and Dean Buchholz have shared time in net, with Skinner starting in 14 of 21 games. Skinner ranks fourth in the WIAC with a .913 save percentage and 2.23 goals against average.
