RIVER FALLS, Wis. – The UW-River Falls women's soccer team remained undefeated with a 3-0 win over UW-Superior Saturday afternoon at Ramer Soccer Stadium, led by two goals from
Madyson Shew.
Shew, a sophomore forward from River Falls, scored her team-leading fifth and sixth goals of the season at the 48th and 59th minute.
Hannah Gagnelius scored at the 82nd minute to pad the lead, assisted by
Lexi Peterson and
Morgan Van Houten.
The Falcons, now 7-0-1 overall, held a 25-11 edge in shots, with 16 shots on goal. UWRF also led 8-1 in corner kicks.
Grace Zellmer made the start in goal and earned her second consecutive shutout, making five saves.
