EUREKA, Ill. - The UW-River Falls women's basketball team earned a 79-48 win at Eureka College Sunday afternoon.
With its eighth win in a row, UWRF improves to 8-1 overall.Â
After an even first 10 minutes, the Falcons took control in the second period, dominating the home team with a 29-2 lead in the frame to take a 40-12 lead into the locker room at the intermission. UWRF then held at least a 23-point lead for the entire second half.
UWRF collected season-highs with 50 rebounds, 16 assists, and 16 made free throws.
Olivia Hoerl led with seven rebounds while
Emily Kulstad had a team-high three assists.
Macy Nilsen led the Falcons with 14 points, while 12 Falcons total contributed in the scoring column.
The Falcons will close out the calendar year and nonconference play at the Wartburg College Holiday Tournament Dec. 29-30 in Waverly, Iowa.
