RIVER FALLS, Wis. – The UW-River Falls men's hockey team picked up a 1-0 shutout over Northland College Saturday night at Hunt Arena.

Gibb Coady completed his two minutes,
Dylan Smith was able to get the puck past the Lumberjack goaltender, who up until this point had made 35 impressive saves. The eventual game-winning goal was Smith's first of the season and he was assisted by
Anthony Biniaris.
The Falcons outshot Northland 50-22. Leading the offense was Smith with eight shots on goal and
Connor McGrath who had six.
Dean Buchholz secured the win with 22 saves.
UWRF now 5-4 on the season host UW-Stout on Friday December 8. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 pm at Hunt Arena. The two teams faced off a month ago with the Blue Devils winning that matchup 5-2.
