RIVER FALLS, Wis. – UW-River Falls head volleyball coach Dipen Patel announced the 2023 schedule on Wednesday, May 24.

During the Falcons' first season under head coach Dipen Patel, UWRF turned in a 22-12 overall record and reached the WIAC Tournament after clinching a spot with a sweep over UW-Platteville. Additionally, the Falcons opened the season on a seven-game winning streak and finished 14-4 during neutral site matches, featuring a victory over nationally ranked Wartburg College. 

Rising seniors Sami Hilley and Kameri Meredith will return to lead the Falcons, both 2022 All-WIAC Honorable Mentions.

UWRF will officially open its 2023 schedule Sept. 1-2 at the North Park Invite in Chicago, Ill., and will host eight matches Sept. 8-9 for its home openers.

"We are extremely excited to release our fall 2023 schedule to Falcon Volleyball fans," said Patel. "Last year the atmosphere in Page Arena was electric, and we can not wait to have you all back again."

The Falcons' conference opener will take place Sept. 20 at UW-Stevens Point. 

"Welcome To the Nest Night, Falcon Fight Night, Camper Night, 80's Night are all back, plus more," Patel concluded.
