ST. PAUL, Minn. - The UW-River Falls women's soccer team fell 5-0 Sunday afternoon during a nonconference matchup at St. Catherine University.
Despite the slim shot margin of 22-18 in favor of the home team, the Falcons conceded two goals in the first half and three more in the second to suffer the shutout loss.
SCU led 3-2 in corner kicks, and scored the eventual game-winner just under five minutes into the contest.
Grace Zellmer played all 90 minute in net and made five saves while
Lexi Peterson led the team with six shot attempts.
The Falcons, now 2-2-2 overall, host the College of St. Scholastica on Wednesday, Sept. 20 at 3:30 p.m.
