UW-River Falls volleyball is set to open its 2023 WIAC schedule this week, traveling to face No. 20-ranked UW-Stevens Point Wednesday evening.
This weekend, the Falcons travel to Waverly, Iowa, for three matches at Warburg College, including the weekend opener against No. 14-ranked Cornell College.

- UWRF is coming off a 3-1 week, including three sweeps in a row against Macalester, Beloit, and St. Kate's.
- Through four matches on the week, senior middle blocker Sami Hilley totaled 42 kills in 14 sets played Sept. 13-16. She committed just five errors on 87 attacking attempts for an efficient .425 hitting percentage, averaging 3.0 kills per set. Against Macalester, she tallied 11 kills with zero errors for an impressive .786 attacking percentage. For her performance over the weekend at the UW-Eau Claire Schumacher Memorial Tournament, she was named to the All-Tournament Team, and was named the UWRF Female Falcon of the Week.
- Among the WIAC leaders, as a team UWRF ranks fourth in the conference with 12.75 kills per set and 1.76 blocks per set.
- Sami Hilley is the WIAC-leader with a .408 hitting percentage.
