RIVER FALLS, Wis. - The UW-River Falls women's soccer team opened its 2023 WIAC schedule hosting UW-Platteville Saturday afternoon from Smith Stadium at Ramer Field during UWRF Homecoming, finishing in a 0-0 draw.
The Falcons and Pioneers each collected one point in the WIAC standings with the stalemate, as UWRF's record moves to 4-2-3 overall.
Platteville led in shots 14-8 and 7-5 in shots on goal while the Falcons had six corner kicks compared to UWP's three.
The Pioneers outshot the Falcons 10-2 in the first half before a 6-4 lead from the Falcons in the final 45 minutes while each team was unable to find the back of the net.

Kaylie Krueger made a season-high seven saves to collect her third shutout of the season.
