NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The UW-River Falls volleyball team completed a 3-0 nonconference road sweep at Carleton College Wednesday evening.
The Falcons improve to 3-1 overall with their third win in a row, hitting .218 while limiting the Knights to a .063 hitting percentage.
Kameri Meredith led UWRF with a double double of 13 kills and 15 digs, accounting for nearly 30 percent of UWRF's points.
Katelyn Nichols tied a season-high with seven blocks and was nearly flawless on the attack with just one error and seven kills.
Grace Boles set up the offense with 17 assists while adding nine digs.
UWRF totaled 40 kills to the home team's 26, winning 25-15, 25-18, and 25-21, highlighted by a .355 hitting percentage in the opening set.
The Falcons are at home this weekend hosting the Falcon Invite Friday-Saturday, including the home opener versus Simpson College Friday night.
