OSHKOSH, Wis. - The UW-River Falls women's basketball team dropped a WIAC road contest at UW-Oshkosh Saturday evening, falling 69-55.
The Falcons (10-5, 1-3 WIAC) got off to a slow start in the first quarter and were unable to break the Titans' lead throughout the night.

Macy Nilsen, and
Olivia Hoerl shared the team lead in scoring with 11 points each, while the Falcons shot 20-of-50 from the field and 13-of-17 at the free throw line.
UWO limited the Falcons to just six points in the first quarter before improving in the second to cut the Titan lead to 29-19 at halftime. Down by 18 points after three quarters, the Falcons finished strong despite the loss, scoring 25 fourth-quarter points and shooting 75 percent from the field.
The Falcons return to Page Arena next Wednesday to host UW-Stevens Point.
