The reigning NCAA Division III women's hockey national champions return to Hunt Arena on Saturday, Nov. 2, hosting the College of Saint Benedict for the 2024-25 season opener.
UWRF, who enters the season ranked No. 1 in the USCHO preseason poll, is coming off an undefeated 31-0 season, establishing a NCAA Division III single-season record for wins and the second undefeated season in DIII women's hockey history. The Falcons were also picked first in the WIAC women's hockey preseason poll, winning last year's WIAC regular season championship for the fourth straight year and 10th time overall, as well as the O'Brien Cup for the fifth consecutive year and ninth time overall.

FALCON NOTES
- The Falcons open the season ranked No. 1 by USCHO and No.1 by DIII Hockey News in the opening DIII women's hockey polls.
- UWRF returns 19 letterwinners from last year's national championship roster, including All-Americans MaKenna Aure and Megan Goodreau, along with All-WIAC honorees Bailey Olson and Kaitlyn Ronn.
- Joe Cranston enters his 26th season at the helm of the program. He was last year's AHCA National Coach of the Year, and currently ranks fourth all-time in DIII women's hockey coaching history with 492 career wins.

UWRF Athletics has partnered with VBO Tickets for online ticketing for Falcons events. Tickets for men's basketball can now be purchased in advance. Individual tickets will remain available for sale at the door throughout 2024-25.
