ST. PAUL, Minn. — The UW-River Falls women's basketball team is set to continue its 2024-25 season with another non-conference road matchup at St. Catherine on Saturday, Nov. 16.
The Falcons are coming off a 2-0 weekend at the CSB Tipoff Tournament in St. Joseph, Minn., where UWRF defeated Hamline and Saint Benedict.

FALCON NOTES
- In UWRF's 2-0 start to the season, the Falcons held their opponents to a combined 33.6% shooting clip from the field.
- Junior guard Olivia Hoerl scored 18 points in each of UWRF's first two games of the season, setting a new career-high mark in points. She also recorded an 18-point, 11-rebound double-double in the win over Saint Benedict, the first double-double of her career. Hoerl was named CSB Tipoff Tournament MVP and earned Falcon of the Week honors.
- Zoey Buchan earned All-Tournament honors for hew performance at the CSB Tipoff, averaging 15.5 points per game across the two contests. Buchan tied a career-high with 23 points off 6-11 shooting in UWRF's win over Saint Benedict, as the Falcons won 64-53.
- A win over St. Catherine would mark the team's first 3-0 start to a season since 2017-18.
