RIVER FALLS, Wis. — The UW-River Falls men's basketball team is set to host Crown College at Page Arena at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16.
The matchup against the Polars marks the 2024-25 home opener. The Falcons opened the season at Macalester on Nov. 13, as a double-digit comeback fell just short and resulted in a 74-70 loss on the road.

FALCON NOTES
- UWRF lost its season opener at Macalester in Nov. 13, falling 70-74. Jack Leifker led the way for the Falcons with 21 points and seven rebounds, while Zac Johnson contributed 12 points and six rebounds.
- Last season UW-River Falls held a 9-5 record at home. The Falcons are 8-2 in their last 10 home openers, including wins in the last two seasons' home openers.
- UWRF was picked fourth in the WIAC preseason poll.
- UW-River Falls and Crown have met four times in men's basketball, with the Falcons holding a 4-0 record in those contests. The teams most recently met in 2023, when UWRF won 77-54.
