RIVER FALLS, Wis. — The UW-River Falls women's basketball team is set to continue its 2024-25 season non-conference slate this week, hosting No. 11 Gustavus Adolphus and traveling to face Augsburg.
UWRF's game against Gustavus at Page Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 20 will mark the team's 2024-25 home opener. The Gusties travel to River Falls ranked No. 11 in the D3hoops national rankings, No. 12 in the WBCA Coaches Poll, and fourth in the NCAA Region IX rankings.
The Falcons started off the season 2-0 at the CSB Tipoff Tournament, before losing their matchup last week, a 64-53 defeat at St. Catherine.

- The UWRF women's basketball team is 3-0 in its last three home openers and 9-1 in its last 10.
- Through three games, UWRF's combo of junior guards Olivia Hoerl and Zoey Buchan have led the way offensively for the Falcons.
- Hoerl has averaged 16 points per game and is shooting 40% from the field and 50% from three-point range. Her 18-point performance in the season opener against Hamline set a new career high. Hoerl's 18-point, 11-rebound performance against Saint Benedict marked her first career double-double and a career high in rebounds.
- Buchan tied a career high in points with 23 in UWRF's win over Saint Benedict. She has averaged 13.3 points per game through three games.
- Hoerl and Olivia Miron have led the way for the Falcons' rebounding efforts so far, as each player leads the team with eight boards per game.
