MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - D3football.com announced its 20th Annual All-Region Teams on Wednesday, Dec. 11, including five student-athletes from UW-River Falls represented on the All-Region 6 Team;
Aaron Borgerding,
Ethan Sigler,
Dylan Brown,
Carson Steen, and
Gage Timm.
Borgerding was named to the First Team, Sigler & D. Brown on the Second Team, and Steen & Timm on the Third Team. UWRF's five selections to the All-Region Team ties the most in program history as five Falcons also earned All-Region laurels in 1998.
Aaron Borgerding, a senior defensive back, started in all 10 games and ranked second on the team with 65 total tackles while adding three interceptions, three pass breakups, three tackles for loss, and one sack. He was an All-WIAC First Team selection, a National Football Foundation Campbell Trophy Semifinalist, and the WIAC's Max Sparger Scholar-Athlete award winner.
Ethan Sigler, a senior offensive lineman and an All-WIAC First Team member, played and started in all 10 games and was a catalyst in UWRF's WIAC-leading offense that totaled 444.8 yards per game, 39.7 points per game, and 260 first downs (6th/NCAA Division III).

Dylan Brown started in each game tallied 46 tackles this season with 10 pass breakups, and is UWRF's all-time leader with 44. He was an All-WIAC First Team honoree.
Carson Steen, a senior defensive lineman, started in every game and made the All-WIAC First Team. He helped lead the Falcon defense that ranked second in the WIAC in total defense while tallying 46 tackles, including a sack and three tackles for loss.
Gage Timm was named to the All-Region Third Team Defense as a special teams player. He was also an All-WIAC First Team special teams player and Second Team Defense honoree, blocking a pair of kicks and leading the WIAC with 15.5 tackles for loss. He was named the WIAC Special Teams Player of the Week (Sept. 23-29) and earned a spot on the D3football.com Team of the Week (Sept. 10) after a career-high 20 tackles at nationally ranked Alma College during the season opener.
Players were nominated for these awards by the Sports Information Directors at the various schools. In total, 1,210 players were nominated, a new high. All-Region teams are selected in balloting by sports information directors in each region and D3football.com staff. All players nominated for All-Region are eligible to be considered for the D3football.com All-America Team. The All-America team will be announced Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025.
