FALCON NOTES
- For a fourth-straight week, the Falcons are ranked among Division III's top-15 in the national polls. For the second week in a row, UWRF is ranked No. 10 by both USCHO and DIII Hockey News.
- The Falcons are riding a three-game winning streak and are coming off two-week break. Most recently, UWRF opened conference play with a 5-1 win over #10 UW-Stevens Point on Nov. 22, followed by a 4-1 road win at Northland College on Nov. 23.Â
- Goaltender Brennan Boynton made 43 saves against the Pointers and Lumberjacks and was named the WIAC Player of the Week for the second time this season. Boynton leads the WIAC with a 1.43 goals against average (10th/DIII) and a .940 save percentage (12th/DIII).
- A collective scoring effort has paced the UWRF offense, with six Falcons having at least two goals on the season. Dylan Smith leads the way with five goals while Jonny Meiers, Max Collette, Reid Lune, and Burke Simpson each have three goals.Â
- The Falcons' average of 3.6 goals and 33.3 per game leads the WIAC.
