March madness was in full swing for the Falcons as they traveled to and played in over 36 matches to wrap up the majority of their regular season runs. Across all titles in league play, UWRF went 22-14 in the month of March. Toward the end of March, playoffs started for our teams competing in the National Esports Collegiate Conferences (NECC) while the final regular season matches played out for rosters in Wisconsin Valorant (WVAL) and the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE).

UWRF League of Legends had a commanding end to the season with a 4-0 stretch that culminated in a clean 2-0 win against Bellevue University in Round 1 of their conference playoffs. In Game 1, UWRF executed their top side-focused game plan around Senior Brady "astralflying" Bates propelling him to an 18/3/5 score line. In Game 2, "Junior Ridley "Fridgely" Bemis took the reins with a deathless 9/0/4 performance.

The Overwatch 2 team qualified for both NECC and NACE playoffs. While waiting to play their Round 1 NACE match against Kettering University, a rematch of a 3-0 regular season win for UWRF, UWRF made a Round 1 conference exit against Kansas State University in a close 2-3 series.
Falcon Valorant had a tough start to their Collegiate Valorant (CVAL) Spring Season including a loss to nationally rated Concordia, St. Paul. In WVAL, a strong 2-1 finish to the regular season has the Falcons poised to make a deep playoff run in advance of the in-person championship tournament at Waukesha County Technical College on April 25th & 26th. Against WCTC on March 8th, the Falcons won a close 2-1 series with Junior Welsey "yelsew" Daniel topping the scoreboard in Games 1 & 2 with a 46/25/6 stat line with Senior Morgan "MUGGZIE" Lee taking over Game 3 as top fragger with 32 eliminations.

UWRF Rainbow 6 picked up the pace in Round 1 of MidwestR6 playoffs to win a close 2-1 series against Muskingum University. On the 3rd map, UWRF cemented their victory with a chaotic yet effective hot plant Monty Rush play led by Senior Jaxon "JDHAFEN" Hafenbreadl. They'll play in the Sweet 16 this Thursday against Lindenwood University on UWRF's Twitch & YouTube at 8PM CT.
Meanwhile, Smash Ultimate finished both their NECC & NACE regular seasons undefeated with an unfortunate 2 stock loss to University of Nebraska Omaha in Round 1 of the NECC playoffs. They have a Round 1 BYE for NACE and will look to pick up a Divisional Championship en route to a perfect season.
