URBANDALE, Iowa - The Hansen Ratings, a provider of Division III college football ratings since 2014, released its 2024 Division III Football Analytical All-American and All-Region teams in January of 2025, including eight Falcons representing UW-River Falls and Gage Timm selected as the Region 6 Linebacker of the Year.

The Hansen Ratings All-American and All-Region teams are determined by mathematical formula. Players are awarded for efficiency, volume, impactful plays, and quality competition. All Division III football players are eligible for selection. The main metrics in the calculation are Total Adjusted Yards per Play (TAYP) and Yards Above Replacement Player per Game (YARP/G). 

Gage Timm, Michael Brown, and Aaron Borgerding were named All-Americans and All-Region award winners, along with Timm honored as the Region 6 Linebacker of the Year. His YARP/G rating was at 59.3, leading the Falcons with 84 tackles including 15.5 tackles for loss (1st/WIAC) and four sacks. The trio of Brown & Borgerding led combined for eight interceptions and 12 pass breakups, with Brown sharing the WIAC lead with four interceptions.

In addition, Ethan Sigler, Austin Fox, Braxtyn Leen, Andrew Schumacher, and Ian Gould all received All-Region laurels.

According to Hansen Ratings, UWRF owned the eighth-most difficult schedule in Division III. The Falcons turned in a fourth consecutive winning season, finishing with a 7-3 overall record and 5-0 mark at Ramer Field.
