Micah Thompson – Men's Basketball (Jr., Perham, Minn./Perham)

Thompson led the Falcons to an 86-80 non-conference win over St. Olaf College on Wednesday, Nov. 19 at Page Arena, recording his first double-double of the season with career-high totals of 19 points and 14 rebounds. He shot 8-of-10 from the field, went a perfect 3-for-3 at the line, and pulled down 12 defensive rebounds, helping UWRF secure a +12 advantage on the glass.

Zoey Buchan – Women's Cross Country (Sr., Johnston, Iowa/Johnston)

Buchan averaged 19.0 points per two games on the week as the Falcons went 1-1, conceding a narrow road loss at Gustavus Adolphus College on Wednesday, Nov. 19 before bouncing back with a 60-52 win at home over Minnesota Morris on Saturday, Nov. 22. Buchan shot .370 from the field (10-for-27), nearly 50 percent from beyond the arc (8-17) and made 10 of 12 free throw attempts. In addition, she collected 10 rebounds and five assists.
