Noah Nusbaum – Football (Fr., Roberts, Wis./St. Croix Central)

Nusbaum and the Falcon defense held Chapman University to just one score while generating six turnovers and a 2-of-16 rate on third downs to lead UWRF to a 58-7 win over the Panthers in the second round of the NCAA Playoffs at Ramer Field on Saturday, Nov. 29 - the first ever playoff home game in River Falls. Nusbaum led the Falcons with 12 total tackles (eight solo), and recorded one quarterback hurry. The Falcons improved to 10-1 overall, establishing a school record for most wins in a season.

Sophia Hess – Women's Hockey (Fr., Cold Spring, Minn./Rocori)
Hess helped lead the top-ranked Falcons to a 3-0 week, defeating St. Olaf at home on Tuesday, Nov. 25 before heading to Vermont and winning the Panther/Cardinal Classic Nov. 29-30, taking down top 10 opponents Plattsburgh State and Endicott College. Hess totaled three points on the week with two goals and an assist, including the game-winner in Sunday's Panther/Cardinal Classic Championship game, and was named the Tournament MVP and to the All-Tournament Team. In addition, Hess was dominant on the faceoff dot, winning 68.7% of her draws (46-of-67).
