MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) released its Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the week of Oct. 27-Nov. 2, with Audrey Petersen representing UW-River Falls as the Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week.

Petersen, now a two-time WIAC Athlete of the Week after garnering the same accolade last week, led the Falcons to their first WIAC win of the season last Wednesday, Oct. 29 at Page Arena, defeating UW-Stout 3-1.

Totaling 28 digs and averaging 7.0 per set with a .968 receiving percentage, Petersen reached 1,000 digs in her career and led the UWRF defense that held the Blue Devils to a .136 hitting percentage.

UWRF closes out the regular season this week with matches versus Hamline University at home tomorrow, Nov. 5, and at UW-Platteville on Friday, Nov. 7.
