FALCON NOTES
- The Falcons are coming off a weekend split against Lawrence University last weekend to open the 2025-26 season.
- On Friday, Oct. 31, UWRF defeated the Vikings 7-1 before Lawrence responded with a 4-2 win on Saturday.
- Through two games, freshman forward Keenan Ingram led the Falcons with four goals and one assist, and was named the WIAC Player of the Week. He scored a hat-trick in his collegiate debut on Friday, and followed up with another goal on Saturday.
- Fellow freshmen Ben Portner and Gavin Middendorf also stood out, tallying three assists each while Portner scored his first as a Falcon on Saturday.
- Senior goaltender Brennan Boynton started both games in net and totaled 42 saves.
- UWRF is coming off a 2024-25 season in which they turned in an overall record of 17-12-1 and 8-6-1 WIAC ledger, including an 11-4 record at Hunt Arena.
- UWRF reached the WIAC Tournament Championship for the first time since 2016 and scored 92 goals - the program's most since the 2009-10 season.
