RIVER FALLS, Wis. – The UW-River Falls volleyball team defeated Hamline University 3-0 Wednesday evening at Page Arena, honoring
Tiara Diamond and
Reese Bauman on Senior Night.
UWRF, now winners of five in a row to improve to 15-14 overall while closing out the 2025 home schedule with a 7-4 record, was strong from start to finish against the Pipers, hitting .286 as a team while holding Hamline to just .010.
The Falcons' balanced attack featured four players with six or more kills, led by
Blessing Adebisi's 10 kills on 13 swings (.692) along with five blocks.
Reese Bauman added eight kills and five total blocks, while
Lauren Noth tallied six kills and hit .313.
Emily Brenner chipped in five kills and three blocks.
At the service line,
Tiara Diamond made an impact, serving up four aces and contributing eight total points, while setter
Cora Sayotovich dished out 21 assists with 11 digs, sharing the team-lead with
Audrey Petersen.
The Falcons forced 11 Hamline errors in set one and hit .469 in set two, taking a 2-0 lead. UWRF never trailed in the third, cruising to a 25-15 clinching set.
UWRF finished with 12 blocks, seven service aces, and 42 digs while never allowing Hamline to reach 20 points in a set.
The Falcons wrap up the regular season on Friday, Nov. 7 at UW-Platteville.
